Perry began his dance journey at the late age of 18, starting with Breakin'. He quickly expanded his skill set at City College, where he trained in contemporary dance—combining both styles to create his unique approach to movement.

Perry became a member of the highly respected company Frantic Assembly, performing with their Ignition program. This experience led him to become a practitioner for Frantic Assembly, giving him the opportunity to teach and perform around the world. His work has taken him to countries such as Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Norway, and Australia, as well as collaborating with various choreographers across the UK.
